Meet the pastor and the leaders who serve the South Chatham Community Church family.
Adam Miller
Pastor of South Chatham Community Church
Adam grew up as the son of a pastor and started preaching when he was twelve years old. He is the president of Songtime Ministries, where he hosts Songtime Radio, heard on RenewFM 88.3 at 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. He is also the founder of the Definitions Conference and a regular contributor to Worthy of the Gospel.
Adam attended Word of Life Bible Institute and received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He was ordained at Calvary Baptist Church in Preble, New York, and moved to Cape Cod in 2011. He and his wife, Marília, love serving the church family at South Chatham.

Elders
Chuck Wimberly
Born and raised on Long Island, Chuck gave his life to the Lord after high school and spent four and a half years traveling the U.S. telling people about Jesus. He and Kathy moved to Cape Cod in 1999.

Chuck and his high school sweetheart, Kathy, came to faith at the same time through a traveling Christian group, and both joined it. After many years in Ohio, they moved to Cape Cod. Chuck enjoys church activities, small group ministry, worship, and church leadership. His passion is "Basic Christianity 101: What can we do to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and to love our neighbor as ourselves?"
Chuck and Kathy run a family business and enjoy time with their five children, their spouses, and their grandchildren.
Dave McElroy
Dave was raised in New Jersey and became the third-generation dentist in his family's practice after dental school and two years in the Air Force. After retiring, he moved to Chatham and found SCCC.

Dave met his wife, Linda, in college in Massachusetts. He came to the Lord through a small group at a United Methodist church in New Jersey in 1975 and has been active in the church ever since, including many years as a certified lay speaker. Dave and Linda have three married daughters and seven grandchildren.
Worship
Becky Merril
Becky was born and raised in Chatham and first met Christ at 13 at a Christian camp in upstate New York. She plays music and sings on the worship team.

Becky moved to Florida for college at 23 and also lived in Georgia for several years before returning to her hometown in 2014, where she lives with her son, Paxton.
Trustees
Melvin Moore
Melvin grew up in Michigan, spent 29 years in restaurants and resorts in Florida, and moved to South Chatham in 1998, where he runs his own property maintenance business.

Melvin embraced Christ in 2013 when his dad underwent open-heart surgery. His wife, Suzanne, has since embraced Jesus too. They're thriving in the Lord and enjoying being grandparents.
